希望和大家一起學習一些感覺會常用到、有趣的卻又不知道要怎麼講的英文單字。

●  supper (n) 

A meal (usually light) not long before go to bed. 

宵夜、夜點、簡單的晚餐

●  canteen (n) 

A shop or restaurant belongs to a factory, school, or company. 

附設餐廳、學校餐廳、福利社、營站

●  scuba diving (n) 

Swimming under the sea with help of an oxygen tank.

潛水、深潛

●  confectionary (n) 

Snacks which are sweet or contain lots or sugar.

甜點、糕點

●  gadget (n) 

You can call a small machine or device "gadget" when you don't know what's its name or function.

●  leaflet (n) 

A piece of paper (usually folded over) giving information about something.

●  flyer (n) 

A kind of leaflets but smaller, maybe half of A4.
